That picture was from a hen of mine that I think had oviduct cancer and fatty liver disease.That is what it looked like! And yes, she was only 6 months old. What kind of cancer is this? Thank you so much for the photo.
Welcome to BYC! You can check for an egg by gently inserting your finger about an inch into her vent.I have a blue laced red wyndotte that us presenting with what I am afraid is egg bound syndrome. She is about 6 months and I'm not sure if she has laid yet. It sound similar but I would like to research or have any suggestions. New to byc but gave raised poultry for years. I don't see many problems but thought I might try this site for brain storming.
