Hey y'all!

I just candled this egg one last time before lockdown, and saw this in the aircell. When you make a tapping noise near it, the chick twitches, and the shape twitches a little lower into the aircell then goes back to normal.

Is this an internal pip, or what? The veins aren't all absorbed yet.

TIA!

Here's the weird shadow

The egg is just getting ready and placing its position. You might even start to see rocking of the eggs soon. Internal pip is when the chick breaks the membrane inside and you may hear the chirping hours or a day before they even begin to hatch. External pip is when you see that crack in the egg :).
