International Black Copper Marans Thread - Breeding to the SOP

This may be a silly question, but I have a 2015 APA SOP and Marans are not in it? Am I just missing them? I thought the breed was accepted in 2010 right?

keep the BLC cockerel tel the next year to replace his sire in the pullets pen.

changed the pairing this evening .3 weeks turn over
pen 1 BC /BLC and Splash hens Cockerel . the golden Golden cuckoo . Golden Boy .
Pen 2 Black hens cockerel , Blue Tail buff. Enki
Pen 3 . Dominant White hens cockerel . Black Tail Buff. Red Rock
Pen 4 CLB 8 pullets cockerel .Splash copper from very dark egg . Khabib
Pen 5 CLB pullets 7 Cockerel Blue copper Big Blue.

This pairing is for fun none of this progeny will be sold .

spent last 3 day adjusting the pairing in the breeding pens .
Pen 1 .golden boy replaced by Day Walker .Blue tail buff .
pen2 removed from the breeding .
pen3 red Rock replaced by Black Mamba .
pen4 CLB . the splash Khabib replaced by Golden boy from pen1
pen5 no changes ,

a friend of mine gave me a pullet that looks really good except her feet are green (like araucana should be). I can use her for olive eggers if she is not good for breeding marans.

it is possible but will take 3 years of selective breeding to breed it out ,so does not worth th effort .

here the method I will use if I had your chooks. more refine technique than the commenly used mother/son .father /daughters .there is many other ways to breed chooks .
the reson I m saying this is because both of this year cockerel are of high quality .specially the Blue copper . ones in life time to breed suck a specimen .so better use him .
the Blue Cockerel is superior to his Sire . so better use him and retire the old man .

here how you breed from both your cockerels .Blaze and the BL copper .
mate Blaze to his Dam . from this mating select the best few pullets and 1 best cockerel Black copper .
pen 2 .mate your best selected pullets and mate them to they sibling/half sibling the Blue copper cockerel. select few nice pullets , Blue copper if possible for the next season .

NEXT SEASON you should end up with 2 different pullets line .they share the same genes but in diferent combination .you only are going to work with them NOT the old hens.
PEN1 ; mate the BL copper pullets the daughters of BL copper cockerel to the son of the Black copper cockerel or Blaze him self.
PEN2; mate the Black copper pullets daughters of Blaze to the BL copper cockerel .

now you end up with 2 balanced pen related but well bred . cousins line .cockerel from one pen will be matted to pullets from the second pen .
every year you do the same thing and select only the best one .
