[Chooks man]

cockerels group #5 . this group is a mixture of 8 small cockerel from group#4 and 5 from free ranging hatched by mama hen ,Day Walker sons .
they are penned with Khabib .my splash copper rooster
will net let them out for 4 or 5 days . get used to each other and they new coop/ roosting spots .

well happy about them .
now I have 5 cockerels pens .still need one more pen for group #6 the youngest ones . over 70 selected cockerels . all keepers

Wow! Very nice! That is still a lot of cockerels. I could never keep track of so many.

don t forget I have many varieties . 3 to 5 cockerels by variety ,I think is enough .

Dominant white ,
Recessive white .
Birchen

Marneck

I take around 200 photos every week to 10 days so I can keep truck of every body .
I m only posting a fraction of the photos I m taking .
every body is tagged /numbered and register in my note book , no way I will mix the thing up . I m used to this sort of work .

I have 14 out of 15 hatch. I have been known to add a egg or two the next day after setting my eggs. So I will wait and see if last egg hatches. The last chick that hatched was from Jaspers pen and it looks BC. I only set 2 eggs out of Jaspers pen . The other one from Jaspers pen is splash.

We have 6 BC out of 14. Three from Jade, 2 from Pearl and one from Jaspers pen.

That is all of them. My Incubator is empty.

The older they get, the prettier and friendlier they become. I cannot even leave my back door open anymore. Had it open yesterday and Daisy strolled into the kitchen like she owned the place. She may have gotten a handful of her favorite treat raisins all to herself before i escorted her back outside.
