you are so wrong about him . he is a hand some boy except his comb and need more color on his lancet and a little bit on the shoulder.

I tell you what I like about him and he will pass it down to his progeny .is his posture bang on the money . strait legs .he carries him self well .

You don't think he has a halo? I alway thought he did.

Well I am happy to hear that you disagree, I am going to post some pictures of his sisters in a bit.

I have been studying these pictures and I like him.

I love how he carries his head.
Nice long back.
Carries his tail at the right angle.
He has filled out in the body.
I like his face very much.
Nice feathering on his legs and I can see the pink showing thru.
I think he is quite the handsome fellow.
He could use more copper.
Dark ear tuft.
I can't see his eye too clearly but it looks like the right color.
How wide is he in the rear.
We are all too hard on our own birds.
More pictures please from the top down and front/rear.

This is why I love this thread! We all lack self confidence because we have been told we have nothing in the past. I am finding it hard to break that habit with my birds, I think I have nothing but apparently I have something good haha.

@Braxton Brigade

Is this the cockerel that you posted pictures when this thread first started? He has really changed.

I don't have good photos of his head and rear but I do have these that I can post for now.

As you have said in the past Chooks man, type is first and foremost, I often forget this haha.

i see another problem carry his tail side way ( wry tail ) supper recessive genes could be bred out .

I want to see his sisters do they have a same type of tail or better.

Pullet #1 when she was around 22 weeks old and not nearly as filled out as she is now.

( she is tilting her butt down in this photo so she can balance on the pole)

Her now that she is laying and is 27 weeks old.

I will have to get pictures of the other sister tomorrow, she was in the nest box when I was taking pictures this morning.

This is the girl you liked, Chooks man. Every chick in the hatch has a poor comb from the start, all over the place with bends.
