And thats it.
I culled cockerels with obvious x legs early.

I wish there were more pullets from these hatches but oh well.

I Need to get updated photos of the 3 cockerels I got a few weeks ago.
They are stunning. And huge!
They are well behaved so far and I think they will stay that way.

you have some stunning cockerels I will comment on them next few days ,I just got home with a chooks ,hard 2 days need a rest .

It is very exhausting moving animals from one place to another. Take your time and be sure to not overdo it.
 
Suggestions for leg bands.. what does everyone use? What size?

What's wrong with just using different colors of zip ties? Any difference besides some are reusable?
I use colored and numbered zip ties , eazy to work with plus you never come up loose .

chooks in they new home ,looking good next day ,giving them some water this morning .haven t open the trap door for them ,keep em in the hen house all day till tomorrow .
want them to get used to the nest boxes and roosting bar .I ll keed them around lunch time .
 
I like em a lot .great body type .very long and chunky .lovely tails too .
I think they will solve your problems with a high tails and square bodies .
progeny from this guys will have all what we looking for .
