How much off for the bad tail or is that a disqualification?

who is a person to disqualify Antonio .
Squirrel tail is a disqualify
loaded with a parasitic white is a disqualify
higher than 60 D is a disqualify
lower than 45 D is a disqualify
long tail .too long is a disqualify
fan tail is a disqualify

need a photo of him from the side ,when he is relaxed . to see exactly his tail angle .

Ok guys before he goes in the roaster I have more pics of my young cockerel. I checked his birthday again and he his 4 months and a week old. Still lots of feathers/colors coming in. I really like his body type. I have better pics of his shanks also.

I wouldn't cull any bird if less than 6 months old. my first pullet had a whitish earlobe till 9 mo. she had worms and was anemic, so when I found it out and wormed her she put some weight on and got red earlobes.

I like your boy and would give him a chance. IMO he is too young to be judged.

Kfelton0002 has some of my eggs! She is hatching for herself but she will have offspring from my birds. I got a Hova-bator Genesis 1588.

I think his tail would get him disqualified but I will try to get a picture. He likes having his picture taken but he is always on full alert when I am photographing.

His tail always seems to be different.

this white earlobe will give you nightmare in the future .
I m working with this problem and it is not an easy one .some line produced all cull .
other line i m in the 4th generation and I m just clearing the line from the problem .

here my result .my own work and study .
this year result .
Zambezi my BCM rooster ( from the important chooks UK ) has a mostly red earlobe ,just a little white .
mated him to 6 BCM hen all with a red earlobe . hatched 126 chicks from this mating 20 chicks average by hen .
Result =
X Norway all the cockerels Red earlobe and 2third of the pullets with a red earlobe .the rest mostly red .
X Sue = all red earlobe cockerels and pullets .
X Shakera = all the cockerel White or mostly white earlobe ( cull) and half of the pullets Red earlobe ,the rest White and mostly white .
X Tamarine = all the cockerel Red earlobe and most of the pullets with a Red earlobe only few with a mostly red .
X Toby . cockerel mostly red only few with a pure red earlobe .a pullets only few with a red earlobe ,most of them white or mostly white .
X Narvic all white or mostly white .all cull .

if you want to work with him go for it .but make sure you hatch a 100 chicks or over to get your self out of it quickly .

I have not lost a chicken since I got my dog. He lives in the house but it seems his presence is enough to keep away the kind of predators I deal with. I have had a hawk watching the flock for about a week but the crows take care of him. I imagine in the scheme of things a dog is the worst predator. He kills for sport.

We have never had an issue with predators on our property, until lately. We lost the occasional young bird here and there to a hawk and the rats like to eat baby chicks if they can get to them, but otherwise the adult birds never got bothered. Now we are losing fully grown birds. Two birds looked untouched, and the others were eviscerated and partially eaten. It is infuriating to find dead chickens on your own property, in the presence of the two large livestock guard dogs we have. We are looking for a new male to start training.

@RedBanks
this tail will not get this rooster disqualify .
he ll lose 2 or all the 4 points for the angle that all
he still score 2 point for the shape
2 points for the form
and 2 point for the size ( length )
6 out 10 for the tail

you are the only person who know exactly how his tail is . you see it all the time .for more than a year .

photos are not always true .
