You should pm Duluthralphie about white legbars. They aren't Ree's line, but c line legbars. He's in Minnesota, and ended up with a decent sized flock of them when his initial flock was discovered hiding recessive white. He also has focused on eliminating any minty green eggs and has all pretty pure blue eggs. Super nice guy!
Apparently, I had 6 babies hatch, not 4! As I was digging them out of the brooder to get their pictures, I kept finding more lol. I'm not complaining though!
I would love to get my stock from him. I sent him a pm a couple months ago and he didnt respond so I wasnt sure if he has been on byc to get my message. I will try again.

They are cuties! Glad u got more than you originally thought. They are big healthy looking chicks. There isnt anything cuter than newborn Marans chicks!
I have a few Marans eggs I put in lock down this morning so Im really keeping my fingers crossed on this bunch. There are 2 eggs from Apollo x Zanitta, 2 eggs from Lucille x Maximus, and a few more eggs from Gideon x Gretchen. They are all separated in different baskets in the hatcher so I can tell them apart.

It's as Aurora says. He's a bit distractible. He hosted me to fill the roster at the Minnesota state poultry show, to get prequalifier for cream legbars. I brought a few Marans to the show too, because why not? Got to see his birds up close, and his whites are quite nice. He did have an incident a few months back where a thief broke into his show pens and stole 90 of his best birds, so he has been recovering from that slowly with the parent stock he had left.
I felt so bad when that happened
