I can't get over the slow feathering. It settles just like my cockerel whereas the girls stay a bit worked up. The size of the comb isn't all that helpful as 1 girl has a smaller and the other is the same size. #3 is looking good so far I sold 1 mixed cockerel with 2 girls and he started trying to crow the next morning.

Thanks @kfelton0002 for the tip about mixing game bird feed. 1 week in a separate pen in the run and new feed mixture and the other pullet seems to have stopped feather picking.

That would make @RedBanks 100% accurate on sexing 3 day old chicks I wouldn't mind either way

ok guys, I finally managed to get pictures of all my boys. Some were more cooperative than others but I did my best. I have them banded different colors so I'm going to give each of them their own post with pictures. I'm looking to choose one to be a main breeder, one as a backup and a friend of mine wants one for his flock (not to breed but still wants a half decent one. There are 6 boys total. Here are a couple pictures of the 4 girls I'm going to be working with.

green boy. This boy is personally my favorite boy. My only concern is the shafting and coloring on his chest combined with my already well colored pullets, producing an over-colored next gen.

^^^ I can't wait to hear the feedback. Not sure why but I really like the red boy. How old are they again? Sounds like green may not fit your program atm. What are the combs like on your girls? I seem to remember reading Roos aren't totally influential in offspring. Looks like Red might go a bit far back on the head. My Chester looked pretty thin till I got rid of the other ROOmate. Now he's a heady dude with much better shape so I don't discount smaller boys right off.
