here your best pairing .you are not going to get any color BUT you will get nice type with a good mass and nice wide body. correct tail . good comb .

The rest of the hens don t bother to mate him with and are not compatible .

If I was you I ll focus more in this pairing . you will not worst your time

if she is a Berchen then is great for tunning down the dark copper of the rooster.

his one is the 2ed best . she is alright except too dark and have a cushioned back ( too fluffy )
her comb is not great but ok
good body type
nice head with ok eyes
deep chest
nice tail
nice shanks well feathered .

Do not breed her to your rooster NOT compatible
she need more colorful rooster ( extra copper on his chest ) with a long back and nice comb.

Thank you for all your input. Unfortunately, he is the only boy I have and was the one with the most color to him. I'm sure I'll be ordering more hatching eggs and have a better selection next season. As I said before, he's only a one year boy. He wasn't even supposed to be named (he who shall not be named...Voldemort lol)

The hen that you like is a black copper. The silvery color on her neck is just fermented feed that dried and is reflecting in the pictures.

nice young boy, there is still time he gets more colour on his shoulder. I leave critiques to the experts.

nice cockerel darker type.
Goods;
Head correct ,
Comb = I can see it .
Body type = nice and long , I not sure about the width need photos of his rear.
Back - nice and long .
eyes = gorgeous.
Shanks = well colored and well feathered too .

Bad ;
dark shoulder ,need more red there.
Back and lancets need more copper
Ears tufts too dark
Tail Opened ( should be wide and strong at the base , closed at the top ) good angle

need to be bred to a well colored hens with a coppery chest to get a good result far as colors goes .they need to have a great tail .

Can no bred to a black hens with a bad tail.

you missed up with a tail = is open structure .good angle not too high.
