Beautiful! I love the dark hackled hen! I could definitely use a girl like her mated to my cockerel, Artemis that has a lot of white underfluff and a halo. And the middle hen looks like my Gretta! You can definitely tell they are from the same line.

These are pictures of the brown spotting on Jazz's wings. I feel like my LP pullets are pure BCM, they had pure black wing feathers as chicks. I am sure the spotting is coming from the father's side. All comments are welcome. Wondering what this could mean. Is there another variety mixed with the BCM somewhere on Zorro's side? Thanks in advance.

the brown you see is normal .it called mossiness .( mossy type ) will molt out .
when you it mean the chick has extra copper . not going to be all black or sure .

Gretta's daughter looks like Gabby did when she was young.

Gretta is more lean looking and doesn't have Gabby's nice full chunky body. Gretta's daughter (the light hackled one) is built just like her and is near identical. So much, that I can barely tell them apart. One time the only way I could tell them apart was by picking them up and looking at the wing bands. They both have yellow leg bands so I could tell them apart at a distance from my LA birds so they look pretty dang similar. lol.

Gretta's other daughter, Little Brown Eyed Girl is small yet and has some growing to do, but is chunkier in build.

Yes absolutely. I have my little FRF cockerel, but I could definitely use another rooster from the FRF line to keep the line fresh. I currently have Gretta's son (pure FRF cockerel) in a pen with Gretta and his two sisters. He is still too young but when I can I will hatch chicks from them all (backcross to Gretta, and brother over his sisters) to reinforce her dark egg color, but a fresh rooster from the same line will do the line a huge service as I work with them I think.
