International Black Copper Marans Thread - Breeding to the SOP

Thank you, I am just trying to figure out what I want to do. The gal that I am getting chicks from doesn't have any splash copper but she does have add splash. Not sure I want to do another pen for the bbs.

I definitely get not wanting to add another pen. I've said that before too and then chicken math happens and here we are, umpteen added pens later. Lol

It probably wouldnt be hard to find some splash copper chicks or eggs. If I still had my splash copper hens you would be more than welcome to them. I prefer the blue coppers so dont plan on raising any splash.

If you dont want to spend the money for more chicks from her line just work with what you have. I have to constantly fight the urge to buy more chickens. You have nice birds and can produce plenty with the birds you have already.

Sawmill Chicken Farm in Live Oak Florida has BBS, Black and BLCM. The birds I got from him were nice. I started out with them. The Splash were the prettiest.

I just hate to cancel a order I have had in for over a year. I hate to do that to anyone. I would love to see what my birds hatch.
