Philip BCM rooster 26 months old .from import pure line .his sister Philippine s lay very nice dark eggs .
I don t like the parasitic white on his tail . but I like all the other great traits he has . he will be the first one to breed from next year January 15 . he will be penned with my best 5 BC .
- Philippine his sister 26 months old proven producer = this mating is produce more of this pure line . parasitic white will be problem in the future . for now is ok .
- Gazelle 26 months old = different line proven producer. produce well colored progeny with great body type and great comb . lay oval large dark 5/6 eggs.
- Amore BC hen half sister to Gazelle .lay oval large dark 5/6 eggs proven producer .her sons are all black with a coppery hackle . Philip will help to put color on his sons .
- Madonna BC pullet F1 import line X Liza s line ,1 year old .she will be 13 months when I pair them up next month . she has gorgeous copper ,full hackle marking .lay gorgeous dark 6/7 egg oval great comb too . her true brother did not had parasitic white . hopping for good result from this mating .
- Love Song BC pullet half sister to Madonna same sire. best marans body type in my farm old school type super long ,large and with huge Abdomen . large dark egg .great copper and complete hackle .

this is my BCM breeding pen for the next month year 2021 = hopping to see they chicks first week of March Autumn time .
only breeding for 1 month Philips . after him I ll be using BlackGen pure import line .18 month old ,big type .

would you come to greece for holiday and bring at least one of them for me?
To be honest, I would leap at the chance to visit Greece and see Athens and tour the islands... Greece has some amazing history and unique art and if I ever get a chance to travel I will be going there....

Im visiting Key West Florida.
For your enjoyment, Key West Chickens.
They are as plentiful as pigeons here.
I bet florida and hawaii are similar enough to red jungle fowl native environment that the more versatile chicken can absolutely thrive as long as they can out populate predators.
 
photos of my marans taken today .all doing good .the roosters are looking stunning full body plumage , I can not say that about the hens .summer molt ,they lost lot feathers and they start dropping in laying too .

they are liking the shed better than outside in the middle of hot days .
