Here is the second cockerel.
The mean one.
I put him in the legbar pen.
He was even mean while penned with Waylon in their bachelor coop.

A couple of weeks ago, i let the 2 of them out into the yard.
He tried to kill the FexEx man, me, and my husband.

I tried carrying him around for a while, pinning him down on the ground, none of that helped.

No white on him. Just rain and muck.

Not sure if you have done the BCM x CCL cross before but they produce great looking birds. Notice the CCL puff on the head with the coloring of BCM.

I have found who is laying the egg with heavy bloom.
She is consistant since she started to lay. I am hoping it gets sorted out.

the eggs you posted are all good . if they come from them than it is alright .
for now I want you to catch Georgia laying . she is the first one to breed at 10 months old . we want cockerels from her to breed to long tail pullets next breeding season .

I just caught Georgia up and put her in a pen. Shes upset so i will put Maggie with her. I know Maggie's egg. Its #4.

The heavy bloom must inhibit evaporation.

I am new to hatching Marans eggs.
I am new to breeding anything to SOP.

Ive always just had chickens and hatched them out. Some pure, some barnyard mixes.
