Viking Red from my red marans breeding project . love his body type ,not great fan of his comb ,but love his dark dark red .hackle and saddle need more work ,they need to be similar to the rest of the body .for that I need to mate him to a specific hen /hens with Mahogany gene .Mh .
I few waiting for him .

Hi Guys,
Another update on the BCMs!

It's been about two weeks since the pictures in the older post. First one is Colette (same chick from the older post), and the other one is Jeannette, who we got later after realizing our wheaten marans was a boy.

These ladies are growing FAST. I can't believe how big they've gotten since we got them as a 1-2 week old. Still very far away from getting eggs though..

Colette: ~7 weeks by now.

hi guys, here is an update on the BCM pullet 10 days after. It's crazy how big chicks get each day. replying based on the original post to show the comparison!

again, any feedback on the pullet would be appreciated.
