I think of all 4 of my roosters this is my best guy so far! What do you think of him? I know he’s still young. My one hen s had to be culled today leaves me with one more hen…

I'm not very experienced so take what I say with a grain.
His comb is nice and seems tidy, nice eye color and ear tufts are showing copper.
He looks to be standing short and chunky... All good things from what I can see.
Others more experienced can surely correct me if I'm missing something, he's young yet and lots of growing to do, but I like him so far.
Sorry to hear about your hen... Any idea what happened to her?
Are you looking to get more girls for him?

I believe Mereks. Nothing official. They all are dying (I’m culling) with the same symptoms. I have blue wheaten marans coming but I’ll try and find some black copper too. It’s been a stressful summer but soon I’ll have a flock who over comes all this madness!

I have the vaccine in my fridge for when I hatch them and I plan on keeping them in a separate location for a week so they build up antibodies before they go to their brooder in the coop. I feel so defeated but I’m so determined to over come what ever is going on! I’m dying for a maran!

Hope it all goes good and you have a great hatch. How many eggs you have coming?
I have 13 BCM and 3 Midnight Majesty's going into lockdown tomorrow. The 2 other Olive Egger eggs aren't fertile so gotta toss them.

Well my heart belongs to ameraucanas so I have a doze. Of them coming blue black splash, 7 marans and 5 ayam cenami. Right now I’m hatching bantams

I'd really like to get some Svart Honas but I have a lot going on this year with test mating and some others I have hopefully coming soon......Someday maybe.
I have thought of getting some fibro EE's for Olives to get my all black bird fix tho.
