Does anyone have problems with mice in your pens? I hung a feed bucket up but they would spin. So I put 3 plant stakes to keep the bucket from spinning. The mice were climbing the stakes and eat the feed. I put buckets of water at the base. In one night I caught 15 mice in the buckets. It worked great!

That's good! I haven't seen my chickens kill any mice or anything. I went out this morning and got 25 more. Much. Easier than setting 30 snap traps and constantly checking them.

Red/green... Kong x Betty 18 weeks. My notes say mossy at hatch and lots of chest copper at 6 wks.

Notes...head spot at hatch, still there at 6 wks and has an m comb. I've noticed the hump or deformity on his back a couple weeks ago. Not sure if this is a broken shoulder or what. He's the last of the 4 from Betty.

Early notes...webbed feet at hatch and slightly over colored in chest.

Early notes... Chest copper minimal, feet good, copper looks nice.
It looks like his shoulder coloring is just starting to come in. This guy is super chill, he stood on the roost and posed for the camera, so I took a ton of pics of him.
If this guy doesn't have any major faults and looks decent, I'd like to hang on to him for a bit longer.
