International egg shipping Q

Howdy all,
OK - where would I look to find the rules and regs about having eggs shipped to me from the Philippines. Can this be done? I am quite curious.

I think you can but it REALLY expensive and they hold the eggs at customs for weeks which would not be good since 7 days is the "getting old" date. After the whole Avian flu, poultry scare many many years ago they stopped letting live birds in. Eggs...........that expensive to import just wouldn't be worth it!

Some countries even banned exporting out as well
