Still nothing but i have been having major temp and humidity problems its sooo hot here at the min freaking weather has gone wild grrrrr so my humidity has been up and down with having to open and close vents ,just had to move the incubator into another room see if that helps ,i just hope i havent stuffed up but i just cant do anything becouse of this weather ,my digital thermometor reads different to my mercury one right next to egg ,hubby says to go by the mecury one if thats accurate then temp not been to bad grrrrrrrrr its so annoying im mega stressed out

i did pick my two silkies up last night they are a day old now and doing great got a blue and a white honeydew and scooter just hope my egg pulls through

id candle the egg really quick and see it its internally piped..

well not counting the first day of incubation it would mean im on day 19 now how do i know if its internally pipped ?

when you candle it.. the air cell will have a small bump in it most the time not all the time you will see them their little beak) moving up and down..
you'll know when you see it.
wait till tomarrow tho.. that would be day 20. and closer to hatching.

ok will do hopefully something will happen tomorrow incubator is in my bedroom now lol husband not best pleased but its the coolest room at the min humidity sitting at 56% at the min hope this is not to low for a short time , just trying to bring that up i have been very busy with it all day grrrrrrrrrrr

i understand.. its hard.. expecally when outside weather isnt being nice..

my incubator is in my room also..
