Hi all. I’m new to BYC and new(ish) to raising chickens. My family had chickens when I was little. I have 7 chickens that have just begun to lay so I’m super excited but always have questions.
I know my Dorking has started first. They are small and perfect. One of my other girls laid her first egg tonight. But not sure who. I have a White-faced Spanish, aPenciled Hamburg, and a White-crested Poland. The new egg is tinted to beige. Everything I’ve read said that my girls who are older will lay white. I’m not sure who did this and I’d love an opinion or more.
