Hi! This is our second time with chickens. The first time was an urban setting in a small rural town with buff orpingtons and Easter eggers. This time we're in VERY rural Maine with 12 golden laced wyandottes, 3 black sex link females, 3 golden comet females and 15 mixed heavy breed cockerels. We'll see how this all really pans out! I am actually really hoping that at least one of the wyandottes is a roo (they're supposed to all be pullets).
Of the 15 roos, we have no clue what breeds we got. It's slowly becoming apparent - 6 of them are barred rock or male black sex link, not sure I can tell (could be some of each). The others are likely just two breeds represented, but I don't know what those are - will be posting for thoughts on that!
