Hello everyone
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
The BF and I are kinda new to chickens. Our current flock is 6 months old. I have experience with a large flock at one of my past jobs and 2 hens(black sex link, barred and nh red mix) from a past relationship. About 15 years ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 15. 13 hens and 2 roosters.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Golden laced Wyandotte and Barred rock.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Every question with answers about chickens i have posed to the interwebs is in this forum.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, painting, bird watching, hiking, cooking, crafting, drawing, photography, reading, rock collecting, wild foraging, making/growing herbal medicine, baking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Just me and the Bf. He has a calico cat named patches. Patches has never been interested in the chickens, however the chickens are very interested in her. Hope to get a dog soon, but it might be difficult with the chickens.
