(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had chickens for about a year and a half so I am still new to the whole thing
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
6 hens
(3) What breeds do you have?
3 Black sex link and 3 golden Comets
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the personalities of the girls in the backyard, I love seeing their relationships and dynamics form. The eggs are not too bad either
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I don't have a lot of hobbies right now as I am in school full time and working full time so I spend most of my time either at the computer doing classwork or at the salon.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a hairstylits and i love all kinds of animals. I have 1 dog, 2 cats, and a chinchilla long with my 6 ladies. I have always been curious about raising chickens and wanted to see if it was the right fit for me.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Every time I had a question about my girls BYC was always the first place to pop up in my searches
