(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Hey I am fairly new to chickens, have been owning since Jan. 2022.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 2 chickens

(3) What breeds do you have?
I have one polish yellow chicken and a silkie blue chicken.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love how chickens are so intriguing. They are so nosey but at the same time like to be independent. I have them purely as pets so I don’t mind if they produce eggs or not.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Currently into gardening, but also a student so I spend my time studying or being outside.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Me and my dad seem to love the farm life and chickens are our gate way into other farm animals. We have started slow with 2 chickens but soon will adopt around 50.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this page on google when I was trying to make a broader for my current babies.
I have another question concerning my silkie if anyone can take a look I’d appreciate it.
