Good morning everybody, happy Wednesday!
My name is Tori, i live lakeside in Kemp, TX with my boyfriend, dog, Harley, and 3 chickens, Squirt, Pumpkin and Pepper. Before these 3, i have owned a RIR hen, Peep, and a black australorp hen, Bear. This was 8 years ago, and ive been hooked ever since! I really thought Bear and Peep were uniquely so sweet and friendly, but after raising my current 3, ive quickly learned its how you raise them! (Just like people!)
Currently, my chickens are a day away from turning 12 weeks old. my two hens are chocolate orpingtons i got from atwoods, and that following weekend i found "black australorp" straight runs on FB, accidentally picking out a Jersey Giant rooster. Hes sweet though, and im excited now for him to grow up!
Later i will add pics of them, but just wanted to reach out and introduce myself!
