I have 5 chickens about 8 weeks old.... I just got a new Hen today who is a year old. So far so good... any advice?

Thanks!!

Its always best to keep birds seperate for 4-8 weeks to make sure one isn't sick. Otherwise, when going to actual introducing them, if you can set it up where they can see each other for a few days before releasing them it helps. Then when you let them loose together, make sure they have ways to get away or hide from others if needed. GOod luck!

I didn't separate her. I should have but don't have a place to do so. The litter ones are terrified of her but no one is hurt. The older hen has laid for me twice... the little ones just hide when they are around her... =(
