Introducing baby chicks to my lone adult hen.

HI, I have lost all my chickens but 1. I just purchased 9 new baby chicks they are about 2 weeks old. I was wondering if I would be able to introduce them to my 1 chicken early or should I wait until they get older. I feel bad because my only chicken has no company. Please advise. Thank you

If the weather is warm enough for the chicks to be outside you could put them in a temporary right next to her for a couple weeks so they get used to eachother. But I wouldn't introduce chicks to her with full access for a while because she might end up being too rough with them which would easily hurt or kill one... that being said because she's on her own I think you could probably get away with letting them be together around 6 weeks old. Maybe earlier if she seems to have no interest in hurting them.
