Big chickens pick on smaller chickens - chicken social order is much like mean girls in high school. Bantams raised with large fowl can do quite well. Bantams introduced to an established flock will most likely become targets. Monitored integration after quarantine, multiple feed and water stations, hiding places - MAY or May not make the integration possible. Bantam leghorns can be somewhat flighty and timid (I once raised and showed them). This will make the integration even more difficult.
Ok thank you.
We are getting 2 and during quarantine I was planning on handling and socializing them a lot. They are from a reputable breeders, and their birds have won multiple state and multi county events, so I hope they are as good as they sound. A bit pricey for normal birds, but good price for show birds of $30 each.
Edit- They're about 1-1.5lbs. The website is called Kunic Ranch.
