I have 8 12 week old chicks (7 pulleys and one roo) and 3 wyandotte chicks that are 4 weeks old.

I put the baby's brooder in the coop a week ago to get the older chicks used to them. My question is, how do I go about successfully integrating the 4 week olds with the 12 week olds as smoothly as possible?

Once my babies had been in sight if the big girls for a few weeks I created a small door, only the babies could fit through. That way if they felt threatened they could run back to their safe place but the big girls couldnt for through the door. Surprisingly the big girls did great witht them and never attacked. Theres been a few packs here and there but that's just part of the pecking order.
