I was thinking of buying some more ducks and introducing them to my flock. I know that with chickens its best to introduce them beforehand in a separate run, so should I do the same with my ducks?

Ps. They'll be going in a pen with my other chickens and ducks

I put the new drake with both of my hens right off. No issues. Few years ago also added 2 mating pair with my one hen everything was fine.

When you introduce them the best thing to do is to put them in the roost at night. They won’t notice. But they will pick on them a little in the morning but not as much as they would if you didn’t introduce them at night. If you have chickens do that to them too.

I got 3 muscovy girls and put them in with my Drake they didn't need any introduction. If I put a new chicken in with ducks the ducks don't seem to care except at the feeding station. They kind of just watch out for each other.
Mating season rules might be different.
