Introducing Myself

No because we keep them inside. And they are so tiny. We have a 40 gallon aquarium inside for them getting another for newcomers! Our neighbors just keep reporting us evertime they don't like something. They reported us for harboring litter that will cause fires. Its a pile of leaves for composting?!
Wow it sounds like you have some pretty difficult neighbors 😕

I am not new to chickens. But I have never raised my chickens over The Pullet/Cockerel stage. I got my First chicken when I was In Kindergarten. Each year my kindergarten hatched chicks and we raise them.

I have 2 Chickens right now. Before these guys, we had 3 amber whites but 1 of the amber whites was killed by a dog. So we gave them away to a farm and got these 2 new chicken.

We have a Rhode island red and a black austrolorp. The Black austrolorp is named penny, The Rhode island red is named Rhody.

One of the good aspects of raising chickens is they are so friendly and nice to play with. Another, is they are super interesting to watch and I can raise them in my own backyard! One bad aspect is I am always worried if a predator will come and kill them, They are a lot of work sometimes. Otherwise, I just love my chickens so much.

Some of my other hobbies are I raise button quail too. This is my first time ever Raising button quail we hatched them ourselves and they hatched only a week ago.

I am always doing lots of research for my chickens and the first result was always BYC! I read a lot and every question had so many answers. This is my first time raising chickens beyond pullets. But I joined because I had one question I really needed to know if my pullet was actually a cockerel. We just don't know. When we bought her she was supposed to be a girl!
