(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes first time chicken momma. I have had them for almost four months now

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Five two roos three hens and one baby chick

(3) What breeds do you have? Jersey Giant, LegHorn two opingtons and an Americana

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They are so much fun ☺️

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I garden and homeschool my two girls

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have been married for 11 years have three kids have 65 acres three gardens five chickens a bunny and two cats

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D I actually found the board looking for a natural pain remedy the chick I adopted today got it's foot caught in mouse trap and I'm looking for relief tips

Poor baby. Was it a glue or snap trap? You can start a thread in the emergency room if needed. Hopefully he'll be okay!

It was a snap. They were over at my aunt in laws I didn't see it happen but I felt so completely compelled to bring the poor dear over and care for it. I got a little bandage on it and I have been able to get it to eat and drink I was just curious what natural pain remedy I could use. It can walk but not very well.
