introducing new birds

i have two chickens that are 1yr old and 6 more that have been seperated and are now 2 months old, do you think it is safe to put them together yet?

My advice is to introduce the new members to the flock very slowly. Place the newbies in a cage, place the cage near the common/ established flock. Watch how everyone reacts. After all the chickens settle down,open the cage door & allow those newbies to walk in with the flock. You might need to help the new girls find a roost their first night.
