Introducing new blood line to blue orps

Can anyone tell me if the people at Catalpa Farms ever respomd to email. I'd prefer not to call long distance, but want to inquire out black orps.

Yes, they do but it can take them a while to get to you.

Never had any luck getting any emails responded by Catalupa....its disappointing tho! I know they are so busy! I got a friend whose father does not live very far from them, she had a hard time getting a hold of them too and endless phone messages to them, nada, no response from Gayle. We were wanting to get more Black Orps.

I tried and tried to get ahold of them via email last winter and had no success. If they don't want to respond to emails they should take their email address off the website.

It is my understand when I talked to him on the phone that they are swamped with requests, phone calls and messages all the time. It is just a couple of them to handle all of the email/mail/phone. They spend more time with the chickens than in the office. If I am not mistaken they are very much like Holderread's and answer the phone at certain times only and work on answering emails.

I wonder if they still sell on eggbid at all. I think I recall them selling before.


I'm sorry for getting this off track, I just saw people mentioning talking to the people at Catalpa, back to introducing new blood...

Catalupa did sell a doz one time this year on Eggbid. I dont know if they will relist again!
