They might go in there......but the big chickens might not let them.
Do the littles know how to roost?

Yes they know how to roost. they were in a cage inside with roost sticks. I just checked on them and the big girls were roasting outside. I am going to keep checking on them until I see their safe and sound.

It's 9:13pm and I just went outside and everyone is in the coop. no fighting. the big girls are roosting, and the little ones are just sleeping on the bedding. Everything is nice and peace full. thank God it worked out better then I thought it was going to. Finally my girls are all together.

I am a bit concerned when you say in your original flock, if one gets pecked on, they just lay there and take it. What does your run look like? I often see on here pictures of runs that are wide open bare rectangles. These runs really do not allow a bird to run away as they cannot get out of sight. If that is how your run is set up, it would be beneficial to all of your birds to set up some hide outs and roosts in your run.

If you think about this, the birds are nearly only using 2 dimensional space, just the floor of the run. Setting up a pallet or a piece of ply-wood up on bricks allows bird to get under or on top actually increases the space available for use. Adding roosts also lets birds get away from each other. Setting up a pallet against the wall also lets an less dominant bird get out of sight. Just make sure that there are two exits so that it does not become a trap. If there is aggression over food, set up a piece of plywood in the middle of the run, and put up a second feeding watering
station behind it. So that birds eating at the first station cannot see birds eating at the second.

It's 1 week today, that all my girls have been together, and even though there still not the best of friends, they are all getting along, and they all sleep fine in the coop.
