I live on what used to be a pretty big farm operation. We were already set up to have a large number of cows, pigs and chickens. Starting slow with just the chickens first lol we used pallets to section off a portion of the coop and layed plywood over the top so they wouldn’t fly out. Well .. they outsmarted us and it was chaos lol I’m sure it was hilarious to watch from the outside. We managed to get everything settled and we’re going to try again today and use some of your tips. It was kind of late when my husband got home with them last night so our goal was to just get them settled into the coop for the night. Fingers crossed today goes better than yesterday!Sweet! 160 square feet? WOW!
I only mentioned it, because many people get chicken math, and do not have enough space, and it causes SO many problems.
Well then, I really don't think you should have any problems at all. Set up some hideouts, and you should be golden.
