I have 6 new chicks I need to introduce to my 3 almost adult hens. Today I just brought 2 over to the coop and the hens seemed very... curious... bothered...aggressive...[IMG] I don't really know actually. I just knew they were very very interested and I was so anxious I ended up picking up my chicks and leaving lol. I am just so scared to mix them. One person said I should introduce them at night but I want to monitor them. I am SO nervous.

When we got our chicks our older chickens were scared of the them! lol I would bring your chicks outside on field trips so the chickens are used to being around them, and they won't attact them when you start keeping the chicks with the chickens. This worked with us the chickens did not mind being around the chicks they are all very happy!
