I currently have 7 and 8 week old chicks. How would they react to adding 2 week olds? Do they have to be gradually introduced? How long do they need to be separated to insure the newbies are disease free? Thanks!

30 days separation and gradually introduced. I think it's good when they are separated, that they should be able to see each other. I'm in the middle of integrating chicks and it was a nightmare starting out. It's been almost 3 weeks and I still need to keep them separated. I put a wire dog kennel in the coop. My 13 week olds peck very hard at the 7-12 week olds. Although, there are many people who have no problems at all integrating.
