Hi there. I posted earlier about a gender question and it turned out to be a rooster so we luckily were able to give him back. We now have a new hen ( so the farm says). We introduced our one new hen two our two lohmann whites ( all three are the same age or maybe two weeks difference). We got the two lohmann whites Helene-bruce and zazu) exactly one week ago. The two white ones hate the new one( particularly Helene-bruce) and just keep running and pecking at her. We have a pretty small coop that would fit 3 we were told and we let them free range all day and put them in the coop at night. We obviously can’t with the new hen so how should we go about this? Take the one mean white one out or? The new hen is obsessed with us humans and just keeps coming to us and jumping on us and following us and not wanting to leave us. Help. Thank you.

ps: I put a photo of what the set up currently is. We are planning on taking of the right side of coop and elongating it making it double the length this week.

Your coop may very well be too small for 3 birds. It all may be academic as the barred bird may be a cockerel.

Earlier today we had an even younger cockerel ( we though it was a hen), and the two lohmann whites acted very differently and didn’t give him a fuss at all. Actually he basically seemed like the boss right from the beginning. With this one it’s completely different. That’s why I’m in tuned to believe that it’s actually a hen this time. But your right maybe... and yes we are adding length to it in the next couple days. They are only in there at night for the most part as they free range all day. Thanks so much for answering!
