introducing new pullets

I'm planning on adding three new pullets to an established flock of three laying hens. I have a 24 sq ft hen house, plenty of outdoor space. Suggestions for introducing the new birds?

put the hens in a portable pen for 2 or 3wks.an let your old hens get used to them.then let them out.an put them on the roost at nite.so all the hens wakeup togather.
