Introducing Older Quail to Younger Quail

Hi everyone!
I’m currently incubating coturnix quail eggs that are meant to hatch in about a week. However, I’ve been candeling them and only about 3 look like they’re going to hatch. I was really hoping to have about 6 quail, so I started looking online for chicks for sale. I found a local place I could pick some up, but they’re around 2/3 weeks old. Can I mix these chicks with the newborns when they hatch? Has anyone ever done this before? Help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance!

it's where they are separated, but can still see each other to get used to each other..not a stupid question at all!
