Introducing pickles

Finaly. After soo much waiting. almost 7 months of waiting. My Kahki cambpell finaly started laying eggs. She laid 5 then quit. i didnt know when she would start again so i took one that had been in the fridge for 5 days and incubated it.

Now last night it hatched in the homemade incubator, After lots of worry and help from @Miss Lydia the little ducky is on its feet and fluffed up!

I wish my cats would just be in the same room as my ducks - but they are petrified of the ducks - but of course the ducks chase them LOL. I call it payback for all the little birdies my cats have chased over the years (well not anymore - they're all indoors now). Anyway it's a cut pic Jpat!

My cat flocks with the ducks and eats macaroni treats with them. He was so surprised when the new drake hissed at him. He likes being part of the flock.
