We made two drakes work as long as we could. Soon, one will be gone

Iam going to keep both untill pickles matures because i want fertile eggs

Although i might get 2 more males. Arg

Right now the one that was in jail is back in with the others. We have tornado warnings, hail, and high winds all around.

Finaly. After soo much waiting. almost 7 months of waiting. My Kahki cambpell finaly started laying eggs. She laid 5 then quit. i didnt know when she would start again so i took one that had been in the fridge for 5 days and incubated it.

Now last night it hatched in the homemade incubator, After lots of worry and help from @Miss Lydia the little ducky is on its feet and fluffed up!

Only upside to it is now i get to experiment further with mutt ducklings. So pickles is half KC half Silver Appleyard, Mix him with the pekin female and see what i get.

Tornado?

It was a tornado. Three serious injuries, many less serious. No fatalities thank God. However there are many remote areas out in the county that have not been checked.
