Simple under the coop enclosure, but it’s working great. It allows them outdoor time and a safe place to start being introduced to the rest of the flock. I figure once they’re integrated I’ll lift the door out of place for run space or maybe make it a safe place for injury recovery.

Not sure that coop will fit 7 birds.......and may be tough to integrate in such small space.
But maybe that's not your main coop?
Thanks for the comment. I’m building a second coop this weekend. It will be a similar size to the one we have.

Not pictured is the outer run that 12x12 which is for daytime when I’m in meetings and then .5 acre of free range space when I can keep an eye that they don’t fence jump.

The coop is usually only occupied for sleeping, but our winters do get cold so the inner run gets wrapped for extra space with ventilation considerations. Two of the girls are currently roosting overnight in the inner run, so this is definitely on my to do list.
