Introducing young ducks to the rest of the flock

I have two Runners that I hatched 4 weeks ago and one that just hatched a few days ago. The first two are already quite large, one is male, the other female. When can I introduce the new duckling to the two older ones? Will introducing them be Less of a problem because they are all still young?

Sometimes it works, but I have seen stories of the little ones getting roughed up. As cute as they are, ducklings can be H on wheels with smaller, newer introductions. It just depends. So you can try out some supervised time together, see how it goes - make sure the little has a hiding spot in case the bigger ones get pushy.

Also, there can just be accidents. Ducklings are not always careful where they step, and they can trample each other.

I think if you introduce them in a space where they are seperate but able to see each other, hear and smell each other it will definitely help.
You can stick chicken wire between there spaces.

Thank you, you have both helped me decide on how to proceed. My month old ducks are already 18" tall and the newby wouldn't stand a chance. I will do the chicken wire to keep them seperated and let them have supervised get togethers.
