Thanks, for the advice, but our guineas and chickens are going to be free range. We have gotten some of those squishy toys from Walmart and whenever my dog goes near the chicken pen, we throw those at her. She's terrified of them. She doesn't go near the chickens when we're there, but as soon as we leave, she's right back over there.

Yep! We're prepared for that.Oh. Okay. If you are going to free range them, the dogs may be least of your worries. Sooner or later, free range chickens are found by predators and they start getting picked off one by one or en mass. But the chickens sure do love free ranging!
