Introduction, new member and new to chickens

Hi Everyone!!!
I am from Thornton Colorado, Just moved here and the city also had this year approved citizens to have 6 hens in their backyard, I was in heaven!!! I got 6 chicks in June and raised them and love them to pieces, always loved chickens! I raised two sets of Rhode Island Reds as a kid but had to give them away before they started to lay.... So, I have a new family to keep this time!!
I have a New Hampshire, a Buff Orphington, a Blonde Comet, Black Astralorph, an Easter egger (Ameracuna is how she was listed- I call her the "wild thing" ) and a Coo Coo Maran. They get along great but the Coo Coo Maran is just a bit standoffish and quiet with a bit of an odd ball personality, she also really sounds like a goose!! Can't wait to meet other chicken lovers who might live close by.

Sounds like you got the chicken bug . Harder to shake than the common cold that one . Chicken soup don't help at all you just have to get another chicken .
