Hi Everyone, I live in Australia
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My love for chickens started in the late 90s as a child we had 16 hens. I had my last flock of pekins in 2015. In December 2024 I bought 4 pekin bantams as moved onto acreage again.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
8 Pekin Bantam Pullets
1 Pekin x Silkie (Pilkie) Hen
1 Pekin Bantam Rooster
4 Hybrid Red Hens
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Pekins and their feathered feet make any yard feel like a story book. They bring smiles to everyones faces and a super friendly pets
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
BYC has solved many of my chicken problems since way back in 2015. Any chicken question I've googled I have ended up in the forums reading the wisdom so I finally made an account now that I have a new flock.
