I’m fairly new to chickens myself but we rehomed one of our roosters to my niece, she has 4 2 year old hens, he was much smaller than the girls when he moved in and they hated him at first but came around. Now he’s a big beautiful boy and the man of the house! The advice given to me was get him in there sooner rather than later. Good luck!
