(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

We are fairly new to chickens only had them for about a year now mostly for the eggs but want to expand and become self sufficient with our flock.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

We have 9 hens and 1 rooster but want to expand to about 20 hens via natural hatching.
(3) What breeds do you have?

We are unsure of the breeds but will post pictures of the hens and rooster if you can help identify the breeds we would appreciate it.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

Stumbled across it while searching for forums.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Maintaining our ranch is our full time hobby and job.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

We are a small start up homestead ranch that is working toward being self sufficient.

How lovely to be able to do your homesteading hobby as a job. Just curious, are you retired or do you make a living from your homestead? Hope you don’t mind me asking :)
